Samsung recently dropped a curious region expansion hint for Galaxy fans with a new One UI 8 Beta page on its Singapore Newsroom. It boldly states, “Samsung Galaxy Beta Trial Program is currently not available in Singapore.”
That word “currently not available” has sparked excitement and speculation among users, suggesting Samsung might open the beta to new regions. Samsung has a history of expanding beta programs after the first wave.
For example, the One UI 7 Beta reached devices like the S23 series and Z Fold6. The fact that India and Poland have beta forums, despite not being in the initial Beta Wave, adds fuel to the idea that Samsung is planning a wider rollout.
Canada’s Galaxy fans have long been vocal about missing out on One UI Beta programs. While there’s no official word yet, Samsung’s efforts to streamline beta testing suggest that the company is finally prepping to include more users.

Samsung prepping more One UI 8 Beta region invites?
Samsung kicked off the One UI 8 Beta Program on May 28, 2025. Built on Android 16, this beta is live in four major markets: the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Germany.
The Singapore page, plus beta forums in India and Poland, suggests Samsung might soon invite more regions to the party. Canada’s inclusion is still just a hopeful guess, but given the demand and Samsung’s history of expanding beta access, it’s not a long shot.
Users with Galaxy S24, S23, or foldable devices might also get a chance to join by late June or early July, depending on how the initial beta performs.
These countries are Samsung’s go-to spots for beta testing, chosen for their large Galaxy user bases that provide critical feedback before its Stable release, expected in July 2025, likely alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7.
Disclaimer: Talk of regional expansion is based on hints and patterns, not confirmed plans. Stay tuned for official updates from Samsung.
