Winner of MeitY-backed STPI Challenge for Smart Sugarcane Solution, Satyukt Analytics Launches Satellite-Powered App for Field-Level Use
Bengaluru-based agritech startup Satyukt Analytics, winner of the prestigious STPI-SFGC (Smart Farm Grant Challenge) backed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has launched the operational deployment of its cutting-edge digital solution—the SFGC Sugarcane mobile application—at DCM Shriram Ltd’s Loni Unit.
The SFGC Sugarcane Solution features a satellite-powered digital dashboard for mill operations and a dedicated mobile application for farmers, both designed specifically for the sugarcane ecosystem. Developed under the STPI-SFGC initiative with support from MeitY, this launch marks a key milestone in the journey toward smarter, data-driven agriculture. The tools enable the on-ground deployment of remote sensing technology to deliver actionable insights on crop health, soil moisture, and optimal harvesting strategies—empowering stakeholders across the value chain.
The implementation cycle includes product development, iterative refinement, field testing, farmer onboarding, and performance tracking. With DCM Shriram as the implementation partner, the platform is being piloted under real farm conditions to incorporate direct user feedback and ensure practical adoption.

The Satyukt team conducted hands-on training for DCM Shriram’s team, field staff, and local farmers. These sessions included live demonstrations on using the app and dashboard, along with explanations of how satellite-driven insights can support better decision-making in sugarcane cultivation and timely harvests.
