Galaxy S25 series – April 2025 update
We are at the end of April, and Samsung is now shipping this month’s update to the latest flagships. Well, the good news is that it’s not just a security patch but brings changes tested during Beta.
Besides the April 2025 patch, Samsung’s update brings Media Player support to Now Bar and Live Notifications, a tweaked charging indicator animation, and fluid system transitions.
Galaxy S24 series – One UI 7 rollout resumed
On April 10, Samsung released the Stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series. Shortly after, the company suspended the rollout over a serious bug discovered on Korean models.
Now, Samsung has pushed the BYD9 Hotfix update, which addresses the cause of issues in the Stable firmware to ensure a seamless and reliable user experience.
- Note – April 2025 security patch is tagged with the One UI 7 update.
