Mahindra is once again stirring excitement in the lead-up to its annual product showcase on August 15. The company, so far, has shared a series of teasers, including the latest one of the Vision SXT concept. The new clip gives us a better look at the rear end of the vehicle, revealing distinctive elements like vertical tail lamps and two spare tyres mounted in the bed. All signs point to this being a rugged pickup concept that’s likely based on the Scorpio-N platform, just like the Global Pik Up Concept that was shown in South Africa back in 2023.This is the second teaser for the Vision SXT. The first one offered a partial view of the bold, rugged front fascia. The Vision SXT is one of several upcoming concept vehicles Mahindra plans to showcase at its “Freedom NU” event on Independence Day.
Others in the lineup include the Vision T, Vision S, and Vision X. All these concepts will be built on Mahindra’s new NFA (New Flexible Architecture) platform, which has been developed at the company’s Chakan facility. The architecture is engineered to accommodate a range of powertrains: from petrol and diesel to hybrid and full-electric setups. While the design details are still under wraps, the twin spare tyres and tough rear profile hint at the Vision SXT’s off-road intent. It’s expected to carry forward the same utility-first philosophy as the Global Pik Up, but potentially with more premium or electrified variants in the future.Stay tuned to TOI Auto for latest updates on the automotive sector and do follow us on our social media handles on Facebook, Instagram and X.
