Samsung has started sending the Galaxy S23 FE’s One UI 7 download package to more users across the globe, enabling the latest software experience. The phone initially started receiving the new One UI somewhere in late April.
This was one of the first devices that received the software without beta testing and made it easy for users to grab the OTA without waiting for an extended period of time.
Speaking of which, the Galaxy S23 FE owners have been waiting for the One UI 7 after the S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra’s rollout. After the company upgraded these devices, the attention shifted toward the FE model. However, the availability was limited to a few markets, as you can expect from a preliminary OS rollout stage.
Now, a wide range of users across are reporting Galaxy S23 FE’s One UI 7 release, including Asian and European markets. Samsung’s speed of rollout expansion has increased in the past three weeks, and this was apparent when the main S23 lineup secured the stable software in Korea.
It didn’t take much of the time for the company to send this update to the US, followed by India, the rest of Asia and Europe.
As for what makes this update special, well, One UI 7 has upgrades in the user interface including better icon design, more visibility for better interactions, smooth animations that define touches and new features as well as new generative AI additions.
If you have the Galaxy S23 FE, search for the latest software build by going into Settings > Software update > follow the on screen instructions. If an update pops up on the screen, try making a data backup via Samsung cloud or a local storage via Samsung Switch or any of your preferred backup methods before installation.
